Max Martin is an Actor based in Chicago, IL. In 2020, Max McNeal Martin graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre – The home of the Meisner technique. Later that year, Max returned from Manhattan, New York City to the Chicago area to continue pursuing his career. Equity and professional Chicago credits include: Young Scrooge in Metropolis Performing Arts Centre’s production of A Christmas Carol, The Bear in Oak Park Festival Theatre’s production of Elizabeth Rex, Sky in Brightside Theatre’s production of Mamma Mia, and Fredrich Von Trapp in Brightside Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music. Max studied Voice Over in New York with Andy Roth, an award-winning Casting Director, Voice Director, Producer, and Writer. Max recently recorded an Explainer Video for Casio America, Inc. for one of their products called Chordana Play. In 2023, Max McNeal Martin worked with Shattered Globe Theater as an assistant sound designer on the world premiere of Radial Gradient, written by Jasmine Sharma. This play was praised by the Chicago Tribune as “the kind of exciting new voice… Chicago theater badly needs.” Max also frequently performs in various TYA productions with Alphabet Soup Productions: Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Peter Pan and the Pirates, and Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte’s Web alone performed for over 50,000 audience members total.) Max is SAG eligible and an Equity Membership Candidate and is represented by Ambassador Talent.
